W+M Quick Facts and Limitations

Websites+Marketing is designed to be a simple and user-friendly tool to publish a website quickly. Many of its modules come pre-designed and require little customization to promote speedy site delivery. Customers who require deeper site customization are encouraged to upgrade to the Managed WordPress/WooCommerce. Listed below are some of the most common customization requests that are limited in Websites+Marketing.

This is not a definitive list of all limitations in Websites+Marketing rather, the most common issues that result in Technical Clarifications. General W+M

  • W+M is limited to 50 pages.
  • W+M does not have prebuilt tables.
  • W+M is automatically responsive. We are unable to customize responsiveness.
  • This platform does not require plugin updates. W+M does not use plugins and is internally maintained by our product team.

Content Modules

  • Audio Files: Audio is only available through SoundCloud embeds.  Audio uploads are unavailable.
  • Contact Form is limited to 14 fields.
  • Social icons are limited to 1 icon for each platform. These are the available social media options:

    • LinkedIn
    • TikTok
    • Pinterest
    • Yelp
    • Discord
    • Twitch
    • Houzz
    • Xing

Content Sections

  • Pages are limited to 20 sections.
  • Section styling is limited to preset options and style selections. 
  • Section padding is preset by theme and is not customizable.
  • Section Heading Titles are limited to 60 characters.

Navigation

  • Anchor links are unable to be added in the site navigation menu.
  • Custom links in the navigation menu will open in a new tab.

Shop

  • Products are limited to 10 images.
  • Images cannot be added to product descriptions

Theme

  • A single color is selected for the site accent color. The theme will generate the color palette based on selection.
  • Font availability is dependent on the theme choice.
  • Buttons styles are limited to the chosen theme and are not fully customizable.
  • W+M has 22 available themes.
  • Hero slider availability is dependent on theme choice.
