GoDaddy Payments and Subscriptions

Does GDP support subscriptions or recurring billing?

No. Mostly. GoDaddy Payments doesn’t support subscriptions by itself. However, if a merchant is running a WordPress/WooCommerce store, they can use the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin to sell subscriptions, and yes, WooCommerce Subscriptions will work with GD Payments out of the box.

WooCommerce Subscriptions is included with Managed WordPress Ecommerce, and for anyone on any other hosting plan, it’s available as a $199/yr add-on: https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-subscriptions/

In order for the subscriptions function to work, they’ll need to have the Saved Cards setting enabled: 

Here are the steps to enable it:

• Log in to WordPress.
• Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments
• Click Manage on GoDaddy Payments.
• In the settings page that comes up, check the box next to Saved Cards
• Click Save Changes.
